El tratamiento con CBD es capaz de neutralizar al menos en parte dichas alteraciones alcanzando de nuevo los valores de los animales jóvenes. Podemos concluir que el tratamiento crónico con CBD en ratas Long Evans de 15 meses tiene un efecto muy positivo a nivel del músculo, del pulmón y más significativamente en el hígado y en el sistema inmunitario disminuyendo las lesiones tisulares inducidas por el estrés oxidativo, la inflamación y la apoptosis asociadas a la edad.
